SIS Book Club – The Power of Intention:  What better way to start the New Year than honoring the power of intention. Whatever you intend for 2014 Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book, “The Power of Intention, Learning to Co-create Your World Your Way” will certainly speed you along your way to your goals and heart’s desire. The Intentional Community Expo (I.C.E.) and Synchronization Workshop with Teal Scott:  Welcome to the Atlanta Synchronization Workshop and Intentional Community Expo. The event is kicked of with the World famous Synchronization Workshop with Teal Scott the day before on Saturday February 8th. This invites everyone into a deep state of emotional healing and raises the vibration for the entire weekend. The ability that Teal has to open up an entire audience to a place of honesty and vulnerability is incredible. This raw honesty is what has people coming to several workshops no matter the location. BobFest 2014 International Night: BobFest 2014 is the annual salute to the Reggae legend, from Thursday Feb 6th to Monday Feb 10th.

BloomScreen presents: The Healing Passage: The Healing Passage: Voices from the Water (2004, 90 min.), by S. Pearl Sharp – Prominent cultural artists explore the present-day residuals of the trans- Atlantic slave trade and use music, ritual, dolls, spoken word and visual art to create paths to healing. How to Truly “Relate” in Your Relationships: Weekly SIS Empowerment Radio Broadcast in honor of the day many dedicate to love and relationships – Valentine’s Day. Relationship expert, Anthony Collins, talks about maximizing communication and understanding for a lasting relationship. When: February 13, 2014 5-6 PM.  Listen to How to Truly “Relate” in Your Relationships.

Screening of Raw Documentary “Bethany’s Story”: Bethany’s Story is a documentary film created by Sanaview, an online holistic health and wellness website founded by health coach Janet McKee. The film tells the story of American teenager, Bethany, who becomes paralyzed after receiving a tetanus injection. Each medication and medical intervention Bethany undergoes leads to further health complications until, with nowhere else to turn, Bethany tries a Raw Vegan Diet and recovers completely from what her doctors had told her was permanent, irreversible nerve damage.
